For Apple Products, the ‘MacBook size’ actually indicates the diagonal screen size of the laptop, not the laptop’s (or screen’s) frame-edge to frame-edge measurement. In Apple’s newer MacBooks, the screens take up a larger percentage of the frame, so the actual dimensions of the laptop will be different than what the MacBook name indicates. The 14” MacBook Pro will fit in any Medium Series 1 or Series 2 Knack Packs, all of which have a 15+” laptop pocket opening. The next-best option for a 14″ MacBook Pro is the Small Series 1 Knack Pack, although the pocket would be a bit tight.

A 16” MacBook Pro will fit into a Large Series 1 or Series 2 Knack Pack, both of which have a 17+” laptop pocket. You can also fit the 16″ laptop into the Medium Series 1 or Series 2, although the pocket would be very snug.

Does the laptop pocket have to be sized exactly to match my MacBook?
