When you think of Titleist, you think solid. And that’s exactly what this bag is.
In typical Titleist fashion, this ticks all the boxes, and although it doesn’t necessarily have the bells and whistles of some of its competitors, you know exactly what you’re getting if you choose to go down this well-travelled road.
Titleist 2015 Stand Bag
Our Assessment
You do notice the slight extra weight (6.4 pounds) when you first pick up the bag. But it’s all good vibes from there onwards, I can assure you.
Titleist have a wonderful knack of combining ample storage and pockets while maintaining a stylish, non-bulky design, and I can assure you that you will look and feel the part when you hoist this bag onto your back.
11 pockets, great features, a dry grip bottom (with assisting handle – great for lifting the bag in or out of your car), removable golf ball bag, world-class strap system… What more do you need? Oh, did we mention it’s a Titleist too?

Titleist 2015 Stand Bag Detailed Review
Weight and Comfort
This is arguably the only category where this bag doesn’t come up trumps. It’s not heavy by any stretch of the imagination.
But those extra ounces could be a bit of a drag if you’re having a long day.
The straps are sound as a pound, and the weight of the bag is distributed really well. But the padding on the straps (and for your hip) is about satisfactory – no better, no worse.
Build Quality
Glad we got the negative stuff out the way, because now I can harp on about the awesome quality this little number exudes. The photos just don’t do it justice.
You have to see and feel it to believe it!
The materials are of the highest order, the bag is superbly balanced, the stand mechanism is ace, the wet weather hood it all checks out perfectly, and even the most severe punishment from the elements (or excessive amounts of time rolling around in the boot of your car) isn’t going to scuff it up in a hurry.
As for versatility, well, 11 pockets with 8 zippered is a pretty solid place to start.
The 14-way option will also appeal to many, while there are enough features, D rings, beverage holders and everything else to satisfy your accessory needs. And if you like custom embroidery, Titleist will be more than happy to oblige for you too.
Value for Money
Again, value for money does NOT equal basement price – especially when it comes to carry bags!
These are potentially the most perishable goods in golf (well, after balls and tees I suppose), so going cheap doesn’t save you money in the long run.
This is premium quality, and, at just over $200, you’re getting it for quite a bit less than premium price.
See where I’m going with this? As ever, it depends what aspects are most important to you, but if you’re willing to look past the very slight weight issue, you’ll definitely be walking out the store with a spring in your step, a smile on your face and not too big a hole in your pocket if you purchase the Titleist 2015.
