Top Tips for Choosing a Wallet That’s Both Practical and Beautiful

When you start looking for a new bag, or a new wallet, or… just about anything else, you are faced with a wide choice. A task that should be taking you no more than an hour or two, ends up taking days.

To help you choose the best wallet for yourself I’ve decided to share with you some of my tips on what makes a great wallet that is both practical and beautiful.

Make Sure It’s the Right Size & Make Sure There’s Enough Compartments and Pockets

The size of your wallet depends on the amount of cards and cash you carry with you.

Do you always carry several cards (credit and loyalty), cash and coins? Then you’ll probably need a large wallet with several card slots, a coin pocket and a cash pocket. The Fossil Emory or the Michael Kors Jet Set is the perfect option for you.

If you have just a couple of credit cards, a couple of loyalty cards, some bills, but no coins, then it’s enough with just a minimalist wallet (e.g., FurArt minimalist wallet). If you also carry coins, then choose a compact wallet, such as the Kate Spade New York Cameron wallet.

Pay Attention to the Material, and Find out If It’s Durable

The cheapest wallets are made of low quality PU leather (artificial leather). The colour of the artificial leather peels off quite quickly, even after just a couple of month’s use.
